In a re-run of 24 hours earlier a barrage of early goals set Flames to a lead that would not be overcome on the way to a 9-1 home win.

Just 55 seconds after faceoff Tyler Busch sent Flames in front.  Brett Neumann doubled the difference at 1:48 ahead of Cole Sanford, Mathieu Gosselin, Matt Alvaro and Jack Jacome strikes that had the home team up 6 at the break. 

In the middle set Flames added a couple more with former Pitbull Elliot Lewis bagging the 7^th and a Karl Boudrias goal seconds from period time to make it an even 8 goal difference through 40 minutes.

In the 53^rd minute, Pitbulls got on the board through Nils Maskalans but a late Jake Willets marker re-stored the original spread. 

Justin Fazio made 11 saves over 40 minutes while Adam long in relief was 13 for 14.  Ben Norton for Pitbulls made 53 saves on 62 shots.
