Crinella and Klimek agree to 2nd term

Canadian Defenceman Jordan Klimek and American Forward Peter Crinella will be back at Spectrum in Flames wear when the new campaign begins in September.

Klimek, 27, made his EIHL debut last season after a Hungarian stop in 2021-2022 that followed 3 ECHL terms.  While under Spectrum’s lights, the 5’11”, 185lb blueliner appeared in all 68 games, posting 7 goals and 28 points.

26 year old Crinella made the most of his debut Flames season finishing 4th in team points thanks to 27 goals and 37 assists across 67 starts to follow up a 50 point campaign in his 3rd and final ECHL season during the 21-22 set.

“Both of these guys obviously were impactful players during our successful run last season,” said Paul Dixon.

“Jordan is mobile and moves the puck which what we want from our Defenceman.  He also probably chipped in a bit more offensively than we might have expected so he really put in a good season for us.”

“Peter was one of our top goal scorers.  When we signed him, we sort of expected that based on his playing background and he certainly delivered on our expectations.”

“Peter and Jordan both really earned an invite back and we are pleased they both wanted to continue what they helped start.”
