The top table team after 54 games will be named league champion, and the top 8 teams in the table will advance to the quarter final playoff competition April 8th and 9th, each with hopes of getting to the final 4 weekend at Nottingham on April 15th and 16th.

Flames get the season started with a pair of challenge matches against Manchester Storm.  Saturday, September 3rd, kicks it off at Manchester before getting the home ice schedule underway on Sunday, September 4th at 6pm with the return visit.

On Saturday, September 10th, the league campaign opens with a visit to Nottingham Panthers before taking to Spectrum on Sunday, September 11th when Sheffield Steelers drop in for a 6pm start.

A busy Christmas schedule will see a home and away set against Storm and Cardiff Devils.  Flames will be in Manchester for a Boxing Day game returning to home ice Tuesday, December 27th, 7pm.  After that, it’s off to Devils on New Year’s Eve then hosting a 4pm puck drop on Sunday, January 1st with the first game of 2023.

Last season, Surrey’s side finished 5th of 10 teams in the league table standings, advanced to the Cup Quarter Final and the Playoff Semi final.

“Last season seemed like a long season because it had so many side challenges compared to a normal run of the schedule," said Paul Dixon. "Hopefully we will not have to handle some of those things going forward.”

“Getting a look at fixtures is a really exciting, landmark moment for us and signals that we are really pushing on now and starting to close in on the season start.”

“We have a good number of players returning from last season and have made some great additions to hopefully help us push a little more for silver this season.”

“We still have work to do in the recruiting department, but with fixtures set up we are now just a couple months from puck drop and we are excited to get started once again.”
