Walker released
The Flames have released Canadian forward Kobe Walker who did not ice with the club this season as a result of injury pre-dating his arrival at the club. “This one is new ground for us, because we have never had this situation arise,” explained Paul Dixon. “Kobe was unable to complete the first training session we had, and once we all believed he was fit a few weeks later after treatment, he was unable to complete that session also.” “He has since undergone several diagnostic tests which confirmed an injury sustained last season that was not properly healed.” “The good news for him is that he can fully recover from this and eventually continue his career, but as an injury that pre-dates his time with us we cannot keep him on the roster for this season.” “We wish Kobe all the best in his recovery and in his future plans for his hockey career.” |
