Locke returns
Defenceman Kyle Locke has agreed to a 3rd time around with the Flames. The 27 year old Canadian made 65 starts last season, netting 5 goals and 16 points. The 6’1”, 210 lb skater opened his Flames account during the 21- 22 season when he appeared 68 times while posting 16 points and topping the team in penalty minutes with 136. In 133 Flames outings, Locke has 10 goals, 22 assists and 196 penalty minutes. “Kyle is probably the most significant physical presence we have on our roster,” explained Paul Dixon. “He is a bigger body who plays a really solid game but he also skates well so he is not limited by the big ice pad.” “He is a well liked guy in the room, and a quality character, so he is an excellent piece of the puzzle to be able to slot back in for the coming season.” |
