Milton joins on 2 way deal
Basingstoke Bison forward, and former U20 GB player, Zack Milton will join the Flames on a 2 way arrangement in partnership with his current NIHL club. The 21 year old is currently in his 2nd year with Bison after spending 48 games last season where he scored 24 goals and 54 points. The Slough Jr. graduate made his first senior appearance with Bracknell Hornets in 2017-2018 before icing the bulk of the next 2 terms with Bracknell Bees. His best season in Berkshire was the latter where he had 9 goals and 39 points in 44 starts to earn selection to the GB U20 national team with whom he iced 5 times at the 2020 world championship event while helping them to a silver medal finish. The 6’0”, 185lb skater will be available to ice with Spectrum’s team when Bison are idle. “Zack has been spending a lot of training time with us this season,” said Paul Dixon, “and having been able to see him in volume we think it is definitely a good opportunity for us and for Zack to have a chance to get in a game here and there at Elite level.” “He has a real desire to work hard and improve himself to play at the highest level, and we are thrilled to have this arrangement in place for the rest of the season.” |
