Flames and Defenceman Stephen Calisti will join forces for the coming season. The 6’0”, 195lb skater spent the last 4 terms at USports Ontario Tech University; previous home to Kyle Locke and Alex Yuill.  Last season the 24 year old posted 3 goals and 17 points to close out a 65 game stretch with 9 goals and 25 assists. 

The Toronto native spent a couple of junior seasons at OJHL Jr. Canadiens in his city of birth.  In 107 starts, Calisti had 16 goals and 83 points between 2018 and 2020. 

“Stephen is a terrific skater so will really fit our mold for a very mobile defensive group,” said Paul Dixon.

“He is a young guy still coming into his game, but will bring a great deal of energy to the group and we are looking forward to his contribution as he makes his first foray into professional hockey.”
