Tait back for 2 seasons
Flames will have forward Ryan Tait back in the lineup for the next 2 seasons. In his first Elite League term, the 5’10’, 175lb American finished 2nd in club goals with 35, and 3rd in points with 75. The 26 year old winger was a new addition this past season after spending the 3 previous years in France. “We have always tried to build our game around speed,” said Flames Head Coach Paul Dixon. “We brought Ryan here because we knew he was fast, but we probably got even more than we expected in that regard.” “I don’t think there was anyone in the league who got up and down the ice at his pace, and he was able to use that to put a lot of pressure on opposing Defenceman. That made him a very effective player night in and night out, and he was able to convert that to a very productive offensive campaign.” “Ryan was a key part of what we achieved last season. We are very excited that he has agreed to return, and we are looking forward to his contribution within a roster that we hope will be even that little bit better than this past season.” |
