Adam Long will once again join a 3 man netminding crew.

The 29 year old appeared in 1 game last season without allowing a goal.  Across 96 minutes the year prior, he earned his first win in Flames gear when he relieved Eamon McAdam during a visit to Cardiff Devils and stopped all 5 penalties to secure the late comeback success for Spectrum’s men.

The Crewe, GB native arrived in time for the 21-22 campaign after the 19-20 set with Manchester Storm and the 20-21 pandemic schedule at NIHL Haringey Huskies.

“We have often said that Adam has the hardest job on the team,” explained Paul Dixon, “having to put in all the training and all the hours of the day to day effort leading up to every game, yet not knowing when or if he will be called into action.”

“You could not find a guy with a better attitude towards embracing that role, encouraging his position mates and just generally being a good teammate.  We have a lot of respect for his contribution to the club and we are glad he will be with us when the new season kicks off.”
